Logline
On the brink of a tumultuous divorce, a real estate power couple must put their differences aside when their son goes missing at one of their properties—plunging them into a desperate race against time.
The Story
Fixer is a high-impact psychological thriller that examines the shadow of childhood trauma, as well as its lasting impact on adult identity, relationships, and emotional survival.
Set in a deteriorating Los Angeles apartment court on the brink of redevelopment, the story follows a real estate developer in the middle of a bitter divorce as he’s forced to confront the very place—and pain—he thought he left behind. As the past collides with the present, and his baseball-obsessed son becomes an unwitting mirror of his own fractured youth, the film explores how unprocessed trauma, PTSD, and inherited mental health struggles quietly shape generations.

The Setting
Set against the high-stakes world of real estate—where image is currency and reinvention is survival—Fixer explores the collision between the transactional and the deeply personal. As a fractured couple untangles their divorce amid the shadows of their shared past, the story uncovers how places hold memory, and how the relentless pressures of the industry can either forge you into the person you were meant to become—or quietly unravel you.

The Genre
Psychological thrillers remain one of the most powerful and enduring genres in storytelling.
